Business Development & Corporate Social Investment
Lead continental business development, strategic partnerships and corporate social investment initiatives that generate sustainable opportunities, mobilise resources and strengthen the organisation’s impact across Africa, while connecting businesses and corporate partners to meaningful social and economic development programmes.
What this leader must do in the first 12 months
- Develop and implement a continental business development and CSI strategy
- Establish a structured pipeline of corporate and strategic partnership opportunities
- Secure at least 10 strategic corporate partnerships
- Develop at least 5 major corporate social investment initiatives
- Generate new funding and resource mobilisation opportunities for organisational programmes
- Establish relationships with major companies and development organisations across Africa
- Develop standardised corporate partnership and CSI proposal packages
- Increase corporate participation in education, leadership and entrepreneurship programmes
- Create measurable social impact through corporate-supported initiatives
- Establish a system for tracking partnership value, funding and social impact
- Deliver measurable progress against Vision 2030 objectives
